Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 29, 2026

1. Introduction

Jinsi Loyalty ("we," "our," or "us") provides a digital loyalty platform that helps customers discover businesses, earn and redeem loyalty points, access rewards and promotions, and view their transaction history. We also provide businesses with tools to manage loyalty programs, branches, staff, customer engagement, and promotional campaigns. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal information when you use our website, mobile applications, and services.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect account information such as your name, email address, phone number, login credentials, profile details, and communication preferences. For businesses, we may collect business names, contact details, branch information, staff accounts, roles, and subscription information.

When customers participate in loyalty programs, we may collect membership identifiers, QR codes or barcodes, points balances, points earned or redeemed, rewards claimed, purchase totals, transaction history, promotion participation, survey responses, and other activity associated with their memberships.

We may also collect technical information such as device type, application version, IP address, notification tokens, usage information, and diagnostic data where necessary to operate, secure, and improve our services.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to create and manage accounts, provide loyalty memberships, calculate points, process reward redemptions, maintain transaction records, display participating businesses and offers, manage promotions, deliver notifications, provide customer support, and improve platform performance and security.

We may also use aggregated or appropriately de-identified information to understand engagement, measure promotion effectiveness, analyse customer retention, and provide businesses with loyalty program insights.

4. Loyalty Memberships and Business Information

Customers may join loyalty programs offered by participating businesses. Each business may access relevant membership information, points activity, redemptions, and transaction information needed to operate its loyalty program and provide its services.

Loyalty points and rewards are managed according to the rules established by each participating business. Points may be shared across branches belonging to the same business where its loyalty program supports this. Joining one business's loyalty program does not automatically mean that every other business can access your membership information.

5. QR Codes, Barcodes, and Transactions

Our platform may provide customers with unique membership QR codes or barcodes for identification and loyalty transactions. Participating businesses and authorised staff may scan these codes to identify a membership, record eligible purchases, award points, or process rewards. These codes are used to support membership operations and should not be treated as proof of identity.

Transaction information may include purchase totals and, where supported by an integration, invoice or item-level details. We use this information to calculate points, apply eligible promotions, maintain records, and generate loyalty insights.

6. Promotions and Marketing Communications

Our platform supports offers, welcome rewards, birthday promotions, time-limited campaigns, challenges, and other business loyalty activities. Information about membership, purchase activity, preferences, and engagement may be used to determine eligibility for relevant promotions according to the applicable program rules.

We may send service-related emails, account notifications, loyalty updates, and promotional communications where permitted by applicable law. The platform may centrally manage promotional email delivery to coordinate campaigns and reduce duplicate messages. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe option provided, where applicable. Essential service and security communications may still be sent.

Push notifications may be delivered through supported mobile notification services. You can manage notification permissions through your device settings and any preferences available within the application.

7. POS Integrations and Third-Party Services

Businesses may connect compatible point-of-sale (POS) systems or other supported services to our platform. Depending on the integration and configuration, we may receive purchase totals, transaction references, branch information, or item-level invoice details.

Information received from connected systems is processed to support loyalty calculations, transaction records, promotion eligibility, and reporting. The information available depends on the permissions and data supplied by the connected system. Third-party services may process information under their own privacy policies and terms.

8. How We Share Information

We may share relevant information with participating businesses, their authorised staff, and service providers that help us operate the platform, including hosting providers, database providers, email delivery services, push notification providers, analytics services, and payment processors. Access is intended to be limited to information needed for the relevant purpose.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect rights and security, to investigate suspected fraud or misuse, or in connection with a business transfer or restructuring where legally permitted. We do not sell personal information to third parties as a business model.

9. Data Security and Retention

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These measures may include access controls, authentication, secure communications, and separation of business data.

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide our services, maintain loyalty and transaction records, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and applicable law. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to request access to your personal information, correct inaccurate details, request deletion, withdraw consent, object to certain processing, or request a copy of your information.

You can contact us to exercise your rights or ask questions about how your information is handled. Some records may need to be retained where required by law or for legitimate operational purposes. Where a business controls information associated with its own loyalty program, we may need to coordinate your request with that business.

11. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended to be used by children where they are not legally permitted to use them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorisation, please contact us so we can review the matter.

12. International Data Transfers

We and our service providers may store or process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we take steps to ensure that international transfers comply with applicable privacy laws and that appropriate safeguards are in place.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services, business practices, or legal obligations. We will update the date shown at the top when changes are made and provide additional notice where required by law.
